Next Big Sing Thing

Welcome to our new blog center for The Next Big Sing Thing. Just a quick update to all who attended, performed and played and all those who missed this fantastic evening on September 24th 2009 at 7pm in the beautiful Green Dolphin Street in Chicago (photo's coming) it was a smash debut. The winner of the Big Sing Contest was Sonja Tate a dynamic singer with her strong delivery of some R and B favorites - she received Recording time at Dr. Caw Recording Studio in Northbrook, Shure 210 earbuds and decided to give the Premier Bandbox membership to Paulie as he was second runner up! The acapella contest also turned out to be a huge success - thanks to Erika Turner for starting out the event (at one point I thought she would be the only contestant) but soon four other singers signed up: Paul Mabin, Rebin Carr, Colleen Lawson and Christina Sanchez. Christina Sanchez took away the prize and won a pair of Shure 210 earbuds. The next update will be our link to the you tube footage of the show.
